Frequently asked questions
What Proxiscout is, what it is not, and how to use a proxy safely.
Proxiscout is a directory, not a shopping service.
We only showcase proxies so shoppers can connect with them. We do not handle payments, purchases, packages, or shipping, and we are not a party to any agreement you make. Everything — prices, payment, delivery, and anything that goes wrong — is arranged and resolved directly with the proxy. Check a proxy’s reviews and agree terms in writing before sending money. About Proxiscout
What is Proxiscout?
Proxiscout is a directory of proxy shoppers and package forwarders around the world. Proxies list who they are, where they buy, what they charge, and how to reach them. You browse the directory, pick someone who covers the country you want to buy from, and contact them directly.
Does Proxiscout buy or ship anything for me?
No. This is the most important thing to understand about us. We do not buy items, receive packages, handle payments, or ship anything, and we offer no services of any kind at this stage. We only showcase proxies so you can find and contact them. Every order is an agreement between you and the proxy, and we are not part of it.
What does it cost me to use Proxiscout?
Nothing. Browsing the directory and contacting proxies is free for shoppers. We do not take a commission on your order — we never see it. Proxies can pay for a Premium listing, which affects how their listing appears here and nothing else.
Using a proxy
How do I know a proxy is trustworthy?
Every proxy verifies their address with us before their listing goes live, and reviews on this site require proof of a real transaction. That reduces risk — it does not remove it. Read their reviews and any external reviews they link to, start with a small order, agree everything in writing before you pay, and use a payment method that offers you some protection. Treat a proxy the way you would treat any independent seller you found online.
Something went wrong with my order. Can you help?
We cannot resolve it for you, because we are not part of your order and have no access to it — no payment, no tracking, no leverage. Contact the proxy directly using the details on their listing; that is the only route to a resolution. What we can do is act on the listing itself: if a proxy is dishonest or unresponsive, report them to us and we will investigate and can remove them from the directory. Please do report them — it is how we keep the directory worth using.
How do I pay a proxy?
However the two of you agree. Each listing shows the payment methods that proxy accepts and any fee they add for each one. The payment goes directly from you to them and never passes through Proxiscout. Because of that, the protection you get depends entirely on the method you choose — consider that before you send money.
What does the price calculator include?
It estimates the proxy’s own fees against the item prices you enter, using the rates that proxy configured. Some fees are conditional — a consolidation fee that only applies from five packages, for example — and the estimate only adds those when your order actually meets the condition. It is an estimate, not a quote, and it never includes international shipping, which the proxy quotes separately once they know the weight, size, and destination. Customs duties and import taxes are not included either.
Why can I only see one contact method for some proxies?
Free listings display a single contact method and a single external review link. Premium listings display all of them, plus a full profile page with reviews and a price calculator. Free and Premium proxies are equally welcome here — the difference is presentation, not trustworthiness.
For proxies
How do I get listed?
Apply here. You will give us your details, the countries you buy in, your rates, and proof of address. We review every application by hand, so it takes a few days. Once approved, you manage everything yourself from your dashboard.
What does Premium give me?
A full public profile page, every contact method and review link shown instead of one, a live price calculator, a showcase gallery, blog posts on this site, and priority placement above free listings in the directory. See the details.
Who owns the reviews on my listing?
Your reviewers do. Reviews require proof of a real transaction and are moderated before publication, but we do not remove a review simply because it is negative. If a review is fraudulent or breaks our rules, report it and we will investigate.
Still stuck?
If your question is about the directory itself, we are happy to help. If it is about an order you placed, please contact your proxy directly — they are the only ones who can fix it.
